APW Stuff-A-Bus Distribution Helps Hundreds

The annual Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District Stuff-A-Bus school supply distribution day handed out 216 book bags full of supplies to students in the APW District.
According to Nathan Metcalf, transportation supervisor for the APW District and one of the coordinators for the event, much of the success lies with the many partners and volunteers who help make the school supply distribution a success. “This event would not have been successful without the help of our partners, the APW PTSA (Parent/Teacher/Student Association). I also want to thank Oswego County Mutual Insurance, Dunkin’ Donuts of Parish, and the Ford family from Altmar” [for their support].
There are limited supplies left over and those will be made available to anyone new who moves into the district and is in need.
Once again, Brittni Metcalf, a senior at APW High School coordinated a clothing drive and provided visitors to the school supply give away an opportunity to pick up needed clothing items for their children.
The first day of school in the APW District is September 6.
