If you have received one of the erroneous calendars, please bring your copy to the district office or your child's school main office and we will exchange it for a correct copy. APW Stuff-A-Bus Distribution Helps Hundreds: The annual Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District Stuff-A-Bus school supply distribution day handed out 216 book bags full of supplies to students in the APW District.   According to Nathan Metcalf, transportation supervisor for the APW District and one of the coordinators for the event, much of the success lies with the many partners and volunteers who help make the school supply distribution a success. “This event would not have been successful without the help of our ... more >>
ESY Carnival caps off summer with fun: After weeks of hitting the books and study, the extended school year (ESY) program at APW celebrated with a carnival. The games and fun featured several water-themed events and the weather certainly cooperated with lots of sun and warmth. Staff and students competed against each other and in teams in games like ring toss, water balloon toss, tic-tac-toe, sponge races, and so many more. Bring your “Stuff-A-Bus” donations to APW’s Bus Garage through August 18th: Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District will be hosting their annual “Stuff-A-Bus” school supply distribution at the APW Transportation Facility on August 22nd from 9 am to noon.   “Stuff-A-Bus” aims to provide the necessary school supplies every student needs for academic success. APW Board names new junior/senior high school principal: The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Board of Education approved the appointment of Joseph T. Olsen as APW Junior/Senior High School Principal. Olsen will replace Michelle Crisafulli who resigned at the close of the school year to take an administrative position in another district.   Olsen has worked in education for more than 10 years.
