Ballot Application Information

Candidates for Board of Education

  • There are two (2) openings on the Board of Education:

    • One 3-year term
    • One 3-year term

    Interested candidates must pick up a candidate petition packet with the District Clerk in order to verify their eligibility to become a board member. Petitions are available at the District Office at 639 County Route 22, Parish, New York. Nominating petitions must be filed between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on school days when the District Office is open. 

    Completed petitions must be turned in to the District Clerk no later than Monday, April 20, 2026 by 5 p.m.

    Candidates:

    1. Must be a citizen of the United States.
    2. Must be at least 18 years of age.
    3. Must have been a resident of the district for a continuous period of at least one (1) year immediately prior to the election.
    4. Must be able to read and write.
    5. Must be the only member of his or her family residing in the same household on the school board.

    Please bring identification to confirm age and residency.


    The Board Member Nomination Petition will be made available on February 1, 2026.

    Each petition must be addressed to the District Clerk, Stacey Mailloux, and contain 25 signatures from qualified voters.


    Expenditure Dates:

    • 1st Expenditure Due - April 20, 2026
    • 2nd Expenditure Due - May 14, 2026
    • 3rd Expenditure Due - June 08, 2026
